Hi friends,
I hope you’ve been keeping your health in check!
Although I’m not proud to confess this, my workouts took a back seat last week as I adjusted to life as a father 👀
I’ve since resumed my runs this week, and I shall continue my usual sharings of how I’m optimising my health routine in next week’s newsletter.
For now, just a special shoutout to a fellow startup founder and CEO friend, Alison Erying, for sharing this parenting tip: “Don’t expect yourselves to be perfect parents or feel pressure to act in a certain way.”
It certainly helped me ease some pressure off myself in sharing my dismal workout week as a personal trainer.
Speaking of which, the focus of this week’s newsletter is aptly related to being vulnerable, speaking out, and working out:
The launch of our reworked ALLSET Podcast!
It previously lacked a theme, so for this season, I’ve decided to focus on ‘health challenges for the c-suite.‘
And for the first episode, I caught up with Nick Jonnson, founder of executive global network EGN in Singapore, on the topic of executive loneliness.
You can check it out through the link below:
As you can see, I’m experimenting with the short 10-15 minute vodcast format that a few friends suggested.
Let me know how you like it and if there’s anything I can improve on.
My primary aim is for this season to drive more awareness to health issues in the workplace.
Ultimately, I hope that it’ll help cultivate healthier, happier, and more compassionate workplaces for both employers and employees.
Lastly, if you have a health-related story that more c-suite executives should know about, please feel free to contact me.
Even if we don’t know each other (yet).
In fact, especially if we don’t know each other yet.
I’ll be happy to know you better and explore how we can share you story!
If not, till next time, take care 🙂
Kindest,
Jing
